Oliver Smith has established himself as a driving force in electronic music and performed at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world. With a wide array of releases and multiple aliases under his belt, the London-based DJ and producer is part of the fabric of Anjunabeats, being both the first signing to the record label and the only artist (other than label bosses Above & Beyond) to have featured on all 16 of the label's beloved 'Volume' compilations.

Smith & Pledger were an English trance duo made up of Oliver Smith and Mark Pledger. The pair met at university, decided to set up a studio together in 2000, and were among the first wave of artists to release on Anjunabeats. Smith & Pledger's sound helped to define the early era of the label. Their breakout tracks 'Northern Lights', 'Forever' and 'White' became classics in the Anjunabeats catalogue, and their legacy continues to influence new artists on the label today.

Now, Oliver Smith releases his highly sought-after 250 Mix of Smith & Pledger's 'Northern Lights'. Debuted to fans during his ABGT250 set at The Gorge Amphitheatre in 2017, the remix soon became one of Oliver's top requested tracks. The release follows Oliver's recent remix of Atlantis' trance classic 'Fiji', as well as his debut studio album 'Footprints'.
