Longing EP

Internationally acclaimed Italian pianist Alessandro Martire and Brooklyn-based producer BAILE team up on their latest neo-classical infused electronic EP ‘Longing’.

Alessandro Martire is an internationally acclaimed Italian pianist and composer known for blending contemporary classical music with elements of pop, minimalism, and crossover genres. Born in Como, Italy, he refined his skills under Maestro Giusto Franco and studied new-age composition at Berklee College of Music. Alessandro has performed worldwide, from Europe to Asia and America, including landmark events such as unveiling the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic emblem and composing for the award-winning short film Ottocentonovantasei Nuvole. He has collaborated with renowned brands like Lamborghini and Lancôme, and his music videos and performances, such as the Floating Waves Concerts on Lake Como have gained global recognition.

First heard in 2019, Brooklyn-based BAILE made his formal Anjunadeep introduction with his ‘Painting Out EP’, featuring the compelling vocals of songwriter and composer Kauf. An idyllic downtempo production, the pair captured the perfect balance of delicate atmospherics, electronic production and a haunting vocal to set the tone, destined to become a fan-favourite.

The ‘Longing EP’ also welcomes two additional artists to the label: Canadian singer-songwriter Ellyn Woods on the tracks ‘Watch You Say Goodbye’ and ‘Empty’ which intricate blends electronica, deep house and neo-classical sounds alongside Ellyn’s vocals; and electronic music producer ALSO ASTIR, who appears on 'Introspection', first premiered on James Grant’s Movement Vol. 2 compilation on Anjunadeep last year.
