Don’t Look Down (Grafix Remix)
By Grum feat. Natalie Shay
Out now on Anjunabeats: Grum feat. Natalie Shay 'Don’t Look Down' (Grafix Remix).
Bristol-based drum and bass producer Grafix, signed to Hospital Records, has been at the forefront of the genre for over a decade. He's amassed over 40 million streams on his discography, and received support from many of electronic music's key figures: Tiestö, Pendulum, Sub Focus, Wilkinson, Danny Howard, Rene La Vice, and more. Earlier in November 2022, he also made an appearance on This Never Happened, remixing Lane 8's 'Survive' from his 'Reviver' album.
Making his debut on Anjunabeats, Grafix has remixed Grum and Natalie Shay's 'Don't Look Down', lifted from Grum's fourth studio album 'Unreality'. To celebrate the remix, Grafix joined Above & Beyond on their Group Therapy radio show with a record-breaking 28-track guest mix.
“I loved working on this remix. I really wanted to keep the nostalgic vibe of the original but bring it in line with current dancefloor drum & bass - I’ve been playing it for the last few months in my sets and the reaction has been amazing!” - Grafix
Released in June 2022, ‘Unreality’ is Grum's most reflective work to date, putting human connection in the digital age under the microscope. A story in two halves, the album is introspective, ideas-driven and song-heavy, holding a mirror to Graeme’s own emotional journey over the last two years. Tracks from the album took centre stage during Grum's Group Therapy 500 set at Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles, which can be viewed now on Above & Beyond's YouTube channel. The second single from 'Unreality', 'Don't Look Down' is a reunion with UK singer-songwriter Natalie Shay, who voiced 'Stay' and 'Afterglow' on Grum's 2019 LP 'Deep State'.
Grum's 'Unreality' album is shipping now on black vinyl from the Anjuna Music Store.
