Greece born and London based DJ and Producer Leena Punks initially began her DJ career as a radio host, soon playing in party cities such as Athens, Mykonos, London, Berlin, Zurich, and Ibiza. Leena has been regularly featured on BBC Radio 1, winning the station's coveted 'One To Watch' nod, two 'Hottest Record' features and numerous spins across Pete Tong, Danny Howard & Jaguar's shows. 

Further stamping her mark on the UK dance world, she kicked off the year with her own residency night HESTEA at London’s E1. Since then, Leena has travelled across Europe & the US, holding a residency spot at Ibiza’s iconic Amnesia, joining Ben Hemsley and KETTAMA throughout this summer. Her ‘Dawn Of The Dead’ edit has also been heavily played out by dance pioneers Faithless during their 2024 and 2025 global tour. 

“I have always loved the gritty, euphoric electro sound of the 2000s and early 2010s and that energy was a big inspiration for this record. Working with Genix on the track was amazing, he is so talented and we connected on the direction from the very start.” says Leena.

Leena continues, “we first premiered the track at Avant Gardner last April and then at Phonox a few weeks ago and I have been playing it in my sets ever since. It has quickly become one of my most requested IDs.”

With the success of his album, 'YOU.ME.NOW', totalling over 9M streams to date and a subsequent tour with more than 20 headline dates, last year was a massive year for Genix. Kicking off 2025, he joined Anjunabeats at multiple label shows, including the Anjunabeats Showcase in Austin, Texas, the Anjunabeats Miami Pool Party, the Anjuna25 showcase in New York City at Avant Gardner in May and most recently the sold-out London show at Phonox.

Earlier this year, Genix released his ‘Rave Digger EP’, a collection of dance-floor anthems including a rework of MC Lethal’s 1992 hit, trance banger ‘Amnesia’ which pays tribute to the legendary Ibiza nightclub and nostalgic floor-filler ‘Dreams’ featuring a vocal sample from Chaka Khan’s 1980 hit ‘Clouds’. The EP has been making waves on dance charts across the UK and on club dance floors world wide.

Now, Leena Punks and Genix team up on their first collaboration with ‘So Good’, recently road tested by both artists last month at each of their own London gigs, with Leena Punks debuting the record at E1 and Genix surprising fans with it at Phonox.
