Finnish trance and progressive staple SØNIN teams up with Dutch producer and DJ, BLR and Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, Brieanna Grace, on their newest single ‘Rush’.

With over a decade of production experience with some of dance music's biggest names, SØNIN is no stranger to breaking into the trance charts. His 2023 debut EP on Anjunabeats, the ‘Affection EP’, flew up the Beatport Top 100 Trance chart, with standout track ‘Passion’ quickly landing at #1.

Earlier this year, SØNIN released ‘Nano’, which also shot to #1, receiving support from trance legends like Armin van Buuren, Jason Ross and Ferry Corsten, to name just a few. SØNIN followed this with ‘Brighton BOP’, a dance floor dominator that saw extensive support from the likes of Korolova, W&W and many more.

Having recently played Fabric, London as well as multiple US shows on the Anjunabeats After Dark Tour, SØNIN returns this time teaming up with BLR and Brieanna Grace. BLR, aka Leon Bolier, has worked alongside some of the best in the industry, including Tiesto & John Summit. ‘Rush’ came to be when Anton (SØNIN) sent me an idea he was working on and I got introduced to Brieanna" says BLR. "I forwarded the instrumental idea to Brieanna to work on and the resulting demo was SO good I asked Anton if I could implement my own ideas to this and make this a collab."

‘Rush’ has already seen extensive support, being debuted by Above & Beyond at Group Therapy 600 in Mexico City to 14,000 people. One of only two non-Above & Beyond ID's from the vaunted performance, the track was a standout moment in the set and fans have been clamouring for the official release ever since.

"I'm extremely lucky that I get chances like this in my career to work with so extraordinarily talented people" SØNIN said when asked about the song. "This song has been cooking for almost a year now in different studios from Nordics to Holland to the United States. What we did represents for me the true essence of Trance music."

The trio aim to dominate the charts yet again with their latest Trance banger. SØNIN & BLR feat. Brieanna Grace ‘Rush’ is out now on Anjunabeats.
