Talee adds his eccentric musical flair to Croquet Club’s ‘Don’t Say’ - with a fresh indie dance meets Disco infused remix.
Released in March 2024, Croquet Club’s debut album ‘Fugue In Twilight’ is slow-moving and reflective; created free of ego, comparison, chasing and striving, the project showcases Jeremy’s talents as a gifted, authentic and unique electronic music producer.
The album features a series of eight tracks, crafted after meditating for an hour before every studio session. Jeremy also recorded the entire album as if it were live, playing every instrument himself without any loops. “It took a long time,” he says. “I had to write the music, write the lyrics, rehearse every instrument, record each part one by one, then mix it myself.” ‘Fugue In Twilight’ was supported by the likes of Line Of Best Fit, DJ Mag, BBC 6Music, Spotify, Apple and Amazon Music.
Netherlands-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Talee first emerged on the scene in 2020 with his remix of Belgian Trance DJ Jonas Steur’s 'Fall To Pieces’, landing straight into Spotify’s New Music Friday Dance and showcasing his unique flair. Following a successful debut, Talee revealed his first AA-side projects on Berlin-based record label Disco Halal in 2022 under the mentorship of label-had Moscoman, touring the projects at 20+ live shows across the Netherlands.
In September 2023, Talee was awarded ‘Best Producer of Rotterdam’ by The Grand Prix of Rotterdam, an emerging talent initiative in the Netherlands. Inspired by the likes of LCD Sound System, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and James Blake, Talee unique production style and musicality was showcased on his most recent EP ‘My Mother Was A Synthesizer’, released on Reflections in 2023.
Talee infuses Croquet Club’s single ‘Don’t Say’ with a fresh flair of indie-meets-Disco. Driven with a funky guitar and bassline, the track is the perfect start to the summer months.
