Presenting the first of Reflections’ emerging-artist EP series for 2024, ‘Reflections 08’ reveals six brand new compositions and label debuts to the Anjunafamily.
Opening the EP, Barcelona-based electronic producer Antic delves into his classical roots presenting a haunting piano-led composition ‘For The Lost’. Followed by label newcomer sue:ann, with her production ‘Gilderoy’ which fuses a deep chilled out baseline with melodic vocal samples.
Next up, seasoned Anjunadeep producers Tagavaka and Maty Owl make their way across to the Reflections roster. With his dark, euphoric production ‘Walking Slowly’, Maty Owl presents a soundscape of textures, melancholic synths and a wandering piano motif. Glasweigan producer Tagavaka delivers an electronic production of euphoric synths and soaring strings on his track ‘Obsidian’.
Off the back of his latest EP ‘XY/YX’ on Reflections, Greek-producer Stelios Vassiloudis returns with an experimental piece ‘Amalia Play’, incorporating his signature flare of chopped samples and lofi percussion, inspired by his young neice Amalia.
Rounding off the project is multi-instrumentalist Stegonaute, another newcomer on Reflections, the French producer explores music with an analog edge on his uplifting production ‘Autumn Leaves’.
