Artem Stolyarov. Whether he's ARTY or ALPHA 9, he's always been sensational.

One of Anjuna's brightest stars, Russia's Artem Stolyarov has been a core member of the Anjunafamily for the best part of 12 years. We've shared so many musical moments with him, both as ARTY and ALPHA 9.

With his 'The Story So Far' compilation out now (and new music on the way 👀), it's time to look back at five of ALPHA 9's greatest hits...

ALPHA 9 & Koven 'Only Good Mistake'

Where ALPHA 9's Anjunabeats journey first started! This single marked the transition of Artem's sound from trance/EDM as ARTY to the more progressive-minded ALPHA 9. Enlisting the talents of bass music duo Koven, this also was Artem's first vocal single on Anjunabeats.

Above & Beyond feat. Zoë Johnston 'My Own Hymn' (ALPHA 9 Remix)

In the words of Above & Beyond: "Artem's energy is unmatched in our label family". They've crossed paths multiple times, both at shows and in the studio: an undeniable highlight being the mash-up collaboration 'No One To Believe'. With this remix, ALPHA 9 cemented his place on Anjunabeats in style, doing more than justice to the original.

ALPHA 9 'Before The Dawn'

If we did a poll asking the Anjunafamily what their quintessential ALPHA 9 moment is, this one would be a worthy winner. 'Before The Dawn' is ALPHA 9 at his finest: emotive, melodic, heartfelt dance music.

ALPHA 9 'All That I Can'

ALPHA 9 had a stellar run in 2020. A big moment to mention: the 80's flavoured 'All That I Can' - warning, you will be singing this one all day once you've heard it. It's that catchy!

Above & Beyond feat. Zoë Johnston 'Good For Me' (ALPHA 9 Remix)

To round off this list, we have another masterful ALPHA 9 rework of an A&B and Zoë Johnston classic. A faithful update of the original, ALPHA 9's take on 'Good For Me' pulls on the heartstrings. Have your tissues ready.
