Ultramarine EP

Jaytech releases his ‘Ultramarine EP’, out now on Anjunabeats.

With over 40 releases across Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, Jaytech (or ‘Jimbo’ as we affectionately know him) is a long-term friend of the Anjunafamily. He honed his ear as a label A&R for Anjuna HQ in the late 2000s. In recent years, he’s unearthed new talent on his long-running Jaytech Music mix show and continues to share his wealth of production experience on YouTube.

Jaytech has long been a part of the fabric of Anjunabeats. He has toured globally with Above & Beyond, was a studio engineer for the label, and has since gone to play Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Electric Zoo and more.

The Australian producer dropped his ‘Next Level EP’ on Anjunabeats in 2024, which featured two stomping progressive house tracks alongside a disco-tinted remix of ‘Nebula’ from Friday Afternoon Club. 

Now, he returns to the label with the ‘Ultramarine EP’. The dynamic 3-tracker kicks off with title track ‘Ultramarine’, which was debuted by Above & Beyond on their flagship Anjunabeats Volume 17 compilation. Following that are 'Terminus' and 'La Presencia', both bringing the same energy that has long been synonymous with Jaytech's sound.  

“So there's three tracks: ‘Ultramarine’, which was on the recent Volume 17 compilation; ‘Terminus’, which is a little bit groovier, but still something that I could play at a festival; and ‘La Presencia’, which is actually inspired by a book I read called ‘The Life Impossible’ by Matt Haig. I don't want to give away too many spoilers, but La Presencia is basically the name of an alien who lives in the ocean off the coast of Ibiza… so that's where the name comes from.” - Jaytech
