Progressive house duo Avenue One release the ‘My Way Home EP’.
Hailing from Canada and the Czech Republic, progressive house duo Avenue One is the brainchild of Matt Cerf and Petr Leško; two producers that united through a shared love for music and their deep-seated connections in the electronic scene.
Matt first made a name for himself under his previous group alias Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren, who released the trance anthem ‘Man On The Run’ with Dash Berlin in 2009. A widely renowned track with millions of streams to date, it’s now considered a trance staple.
Matt and Petr formed Avenue One in 2012. They made their Anjunabeats debut in 2022 on our Rising EP series with ‘Upstairs Terrace’, which featured in the Anjunabeats Volume 16 compilation, before releasing their debut album ‘Outside My Door’ later that year.
Avenue One's 'My Way Home EP' follows their recent singles 'Days & Nights' and 'My Way Home', which have amassed over 600K streams so far, receiving support from Marcus Santoro, Paul Oakenfold, Jonas Saalbach, Grigoré, Don Diablo, Cosmic Gate and Giuseppe Ottaviani.
The EP includes a collaboration with singer-songwriter duo Elliot Vast on ‘Goodbye My Love’, who recently joined forces with Dokho on their double A-side ‘Le Long Voyage / Balao’, as well as an artist debut from Matt's daughter Lilu Cerf, who teams up with Avenue One as the vocalist on ‘Just Us’.
